Business Insider has won a New York Press Club Award in the Feature Reporting category for the "80 Over 80" series.
Written by Noah Sheidlower, "80 Over 80" is a yearlong series of stories that draws on over 300 interviews, data, and expert commentary to paint the definitive portrait of America's oldest workers, a growing demographic.
The series was the first to examine this demographic in-depth in either the media or academia, as attested to by dozens of researchers. The series introduced readers to some of America's most vulnerable and resilient older workers through over a dozen feature stories, original photographs of 28 workers, a short documentary, and an interactive capstone.

The "80 Over 80" series was also a finalist for beat reporting in the Deadline Club Awards and won second place at the Headliner Awards.
