Uber may be only five years old, but it sure knows how to throw a holiday party like the rest of the Silicon Valley giants.
2015-12-20For Uber's bash, the ride-hailing company rented out the Pier 27 cruise terminal in San Francisco and transformed it into a silent disco party. There was an open bar, a doughnut station, and plenty of headphones passed around so employees could groove.
Even Uber's CEO Travis Kalanick made an appearance with a special guest, who clearly won best in show.

Friday night was a rainy in San Francisco, but that didn't stop Uber employees from packing Pier 27 along the embarcadero.

The silent-disco floor was rocking. In a silent disco, partygoers wear headphones and are all listening to the same song. For people watching, you have no idea what they're dancing to!

Uber's CEO Travis Kalanick came to the party dressed in a tux to celebrate with his employees. Unlike other tech CEOs who roped themselves off from the crowd, Kalanick mingled and took photos with people.

Kalanick didn't steal the show though. The Uber CEO brought along his dog, who rocked his own mini tux. Obviously, it wins best in show.
