Take A Look At The Totally New Twitter For iPhone App

Twitter just rolled out a system wide update of its design.

We've already shown you the web design update, and now were going to do a walk through of the iPhone app.

The new iPhone app has two significant changes. Search and direct messages have been removed from the bottom bar.

Instead, we see "discover" which is hashtags and "me" which takes you to your profile and direct messages

You can see at the bottom that Twitter is doing more to highlight trending topics with hashtags

The @ symbol becomes "connect" which has "mentions" and "interactions"
