Marvel announced Friday at Comic-Con that a new "Guardians of the Galaxy" ride will be coming to Disney California Adventure Park next summer.
While that sounds exciting, fans were not thrilled to learn that in order to get a ride with the popular Marvel team that it would mean saying goodbye to a classic ride. "Guardians of the Galaxy: Escape" will replace Disney's Twilight Zone Tower of Terror ride. The Tower of Terror will close some time in January.
The news was met with many frustrated and upset fans.

Don't plan on Disney changing it's mind. The "Guardians of the Galaxy"-themed ride is the first of many planned Marvel superhero attractions in Disney California Adventure Park. The Tower of Terror is currently set to run until some time in January 2017.
