Multiple tornadoes barreled through the Dallas area Tuesday afternoon, leaving behind a swath of destruction. No deaths have been reported, but at least a dozen were injured and countless properties destroyed.

Residents in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area were surprised when severe thunderstorms, which began around 1:30 p.m., spun off into a chain of ferocious tornadoes

The storms brought heavy rains, high-speed winds and golf-ball size hail

Around 2:30 p.m., the first massive tornado touched down in Arlington, TX, while another ripped through eastern Dallas County

Strong winds hurled tractor trailers into the air like toys
