Here's Syncplicity's home page. Click "Download Free" to try the free version of the service. You'll get 2 GB, which should be plenty.
Syncplicity makes you select the free plan again. Click to continue.
Fill out your name, e-mail, and password you'd like to use for your account and click "Sign Up Now"
Click the link to download Syncplicity to your desktop
After the file downloads, open it. You'll see this screen. Drag the Syncplicity icon into the Applications folder to copy it to your computer.
Find Syncplicity in your Applications folder in the Finder. Double click to open.
You'll be prompted for your Mac OS X password. Enter it and click "OK"
Log in with the email and password you just registered with and click "Register" at the bottom.
A intro screen will pop up showing you how to use Syncplicity. Read through it and click "Close"
Now find the folder in your Finder where you save your Office documents. Right click it, mouse over Syncplicity, and click "Add Folder"
Now it's time to sync with Google Docs. Go back to Syncplicity.com and log in at the top of the page.
From the dashboard, click on the Google Docs tab.
Click "Link To Google Docs" to link the accounts.
Log in with your Google Account, or select the Google account that show up.
Click "Grant Access" so Syncplicity can access your Google Docs.
You'll be taken back to Syncplicity. From the drop down menu, find the documents folder you selected earlier and select it.
Scroll down and select how you would like your Google Docs exported. The default settings shown here will be the best way to make sure everything is compatible.
And you're done! Syncplicity will now sync your Google Docs with your Microsoft Office documents.
