Whether you use it for aesthetic reasons, to save battery, or because it's easier on the eyes, dark mode is a popular setting for mobile devices.
If you've already turned on dark mode for your iPhone, you may have noticed that a few apps haven't automatically made the shift, including Snapchat. To view Snapchat in dark mode, you need to go into the app settings.
How to turn on dark mode on Snapchat
1. Open the Snapchat app and log in if you aren't already.
2. Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
3. Tap the settings icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
4. Under My Account, tap App Appearance.
5. Tap the circle next to Always Dark.
Alternatively, you can select Match System to sync the app with your iPhone settings. This can be helpful if your iPhone is set to switch between light and dark mode at preset times during the day.
