Installation took me about 15 minutes from start to finish. The Spa 3.0 connects directly to your toilet's water line and, for warm water, to your sink faucet with no outlet needed. That setup is great if you have a freestanding sink, but less ideal if your bathroom has a vanity cabinet, since the hose will need to run through the cabinet door unless you're handy enough to drill a hole. My sink has a vanity cabinet, and the resulting partially open cabinet door with an exposed hose was pretty unattractive.
Once installed, the bidet offers a strong, adjustable spray that you can fine-tune for pressure and temperature. That said, the warm water was neither as strong nor as consistent as I'd hoped. This was hands-down my favorite bidet I tested. At $400, it's an excellent value for the luxury features it offers, and I struggled to find many downsides. Installation was simple and straightforward; it took me about 20 minutes working at an unhurried pace. Once it was set up, I didn't even need to reference the instructions. Everything felt intuitive right away.
The remote control is one of my favorite features. Because it's completely separate from the seat, I never have to twist around to change settings. (This is the most significant upgrade from the OG Cloud model, which has a side control panel.) The remote control is responsive, comfortable to hold, and easy to navigate with large, clearly labeled buttons. The heated seat is another major highlight — something I didn't know I needed until I tried it, and now I can't imagine going back to a regular toilet seat. It has three seat temperature options, and it's warm and cozy without feeling too hot.
Performance-wise, the Cloud+ delivers. The water heats up instantly and gets perfectly warm, while the oscillating wash ensures a thorough clean. The front wash option is a nice feature, especially for people who menstruate. The adjustable nozzle and automatic self-cleaning function add further convenience. The built-in nightlight is also a useful touch. With it, I no longer need to turn on the bathroom light to find my way at night.
If I had to nitpick, the air-dry feature is my least favorite. It works, but it takes about four minutes to fully dry, which is longer than I'd prefer. The Tushy Aura is the brand's most luxurious model yet, packed with features and a $600 price tag to match. The Aura includes all the excellent features I loved in the Cloud+: simple installation, instant heated water and seat, adjustable pressure and temperature, and a thoughtful, intuitive design. The addition of an LED display that shows your current temperature setting is a helpful touch.
Though, the most significant upgrade from the Cloud+ is the hands-free lid and seat, which employs motion detectors to open and close automatically. Since I have cats who love to investigate water, this isn't a feature I personally prefer to use, but I can see why others would appreciate it since it's much more sanitary. You can also toggle the automatic function off and open the seat with a button on the remote, which is a nice middle ground.
Speaking of the remote, that's the one feature I didn't love. Buttons on three of its four sides make it awkward to handle without pressing something by accident. I often had to flip it around to find the right function, and while the buttons are large and clearly labeled, I wish they were consolidated on one face for easier use. For me, the auto-open lid that I personally don't use and LED screen don't justify the extra $200 over the Cloud+, especially considering the remote control awkwardness. Installation was simple and straightforward (I had it set up in about 15 minutes), and once installed, it delivered strong, adjustable pressure and a customizable spray angle. Since this bidet has an integrated seat, it’s not ideal for renters in small homes who will need to find a place to store their unused toilet seat.
As one of Tushy’s lower-end models, the Oasis does come with a few trade-offs. Like the Spa 3.0, the warm water feature isn’t entirely consistent. While the water never feels shockingly cold, it doesn’t get as warm as electric models and can take a minute or two to heat up. During setup, I made the mistake of over-tightening the top-mounting rubber inserts, which damaged them and required replacements.
Another snag: The brand says any toilet with a minimum of 1.75 inches between the front of the tank and the center of the top-mounting holes should fit, but I didn’t quite find that to be the case. My toilet has just over 2 inches of room in that area, but when the seat was attached, it jutted out over the front of the bowl about a quarter inch. If I pushed it all the way back so the seat sat flush against the bowl, the tank pushed against the lid so that it wouldn’t stay open without being held up.
All in all, this bidet offers nearly all of the same features as the Spa 3.0, but will set you back an extra $90. For that reason, I’d go with the Spa 3.0 and keep your original seat, unless your toilet is situated in a tight space where the Spa 3.0’s bulky side console presents an issue.
