Google plans "to market a tablet of the highest quality" in the next six months, says chairman Eric Schmidt.
His comment comes from Google Translate of an interview with Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, which is getting passed around.
As you can see, it's a relatively vague quote.
Is Google going to make its own tablet? Will it be through Motorola once that acquisition closes? Will it be a Nexus tablet with Samsung like it does with smartphones? Or will Google just decide to make a huge marketing push for Android tablets?
We've reached out to Google for clarification on the quote and will update if we hear anything back.
Either way, you've been warned! Don't be shocked when a "pure" Android tablet is out next summer.
