Some Disney subscribers may see the price of their streaming plans increase next month.
The media giant said it plans to raise the monthly price of several Disney+ subscriptions by $2 to $3 starting October 21. The price of the entry-level ad-supported plan, for instance, is set to go up to $11.99 a month.
The change will also impact bundle deals with streamers like ESPN and Hulu. The ad-supported Disney bundle that includes Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN is increasing from $16.99 to $19.99 a month.
Notifications sent to account holders on Tuesday said that stand-alone Hulu subscriptions will also see a price increase beginning in October. A monthly Hulu subscription with ads will now cost $11.99, up from $9.99.
The planned price hikes come after Disney made another big announcement this week, bringing back late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.
Disney faced backlash and calls for a boycott of its streaming services over ABC's decision last week to suspend Kimmel's late-night talk show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" The outcry spread as some subscribers considered canceling their Disney+ and Hulu subscriptions.
Disney said Monday that Kimmel's show would resume on Tuesday.
The cost of a Disney+ subscription has increased a few times since the service launched in 2019, most recently in 2024.
The media giant has also said it's working to fully integrate its streaming service Hulu into Disney+ with a new app that will be released in 2026. The two apps are currently available in a bundle.

- Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle Premium: From $26.99 to $29.99
- Disney+ Premium, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle Legacy: From $21.99 to $24.99
- Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle (with ads): From $16.99 to $19.99
- Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Bundle: From $29.99 to $32.99
