Journalism from Business Insider was also recognized in the following categories:

"One value that editor in chief Jamie Heller cemented at the top of the year was that Business Insider is one newsroom. And this year's recognition from the LA Press Club, our most ever in one year, reflects what happens when one newsroom works together," said Joi-Marie McKenzie, Business Insider's editor in chief, Life.

"The winning pieces embody what's best about Business Insider, the unique way our journalists reveal the human stories behind business and entertainment, helping our audience make sense of the forces shaping their work and their lives. We're honored that our Los Angeles colleagues recognized the incredible range of our newsroom — from our video team to our social team, as well as our business and life desks."
